The ‘Rock to Rescue India Tour 2012’ Concert featuring Firehouse, slated for April 7 at DDSC Dimapur, and April 10 at Khuman Lampak main stadium, Imphal has been postponed.

Sky Group, and its sponsor’s regrets to inform that it is forced to postpone the shows and push to a later date, due to unavoidable circumstance. Some band members of FireHouse, were not granted visas by the Indian Consulate in the United States, owing to which the concert will remain postponed until a future date can be arranged. Once a date has been agreed upon, an announcement will be made in the media as to when the show will be rescheduled.

Tickets purchased for the concert will be honored at the future rescheduled date. Ticket holders are also requested to keep the tickets in good condition as every ticket has been mechanized with bar coding technology. For more queries on concert tickets, contact organizers at: 9615057377 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Ticket sales are on at authorized ticket vendors for Nagaland- (Dimapur) Queensberry Foundation, Crescendo, Café 77 and Furtados. Big Bites (Kohima), Someplace Else (Mokokchung). For Imphal- Classic Hotel, SaSa Store (Khuman Lampak) opposite ISBT.

The band has also issued this apology on its fan page on social networking site- Facebook:

“We would like to apologize to our fans in Imphal & Dimapur, India. Some of the members of FireHouse, but not all, were granted visas by the Indian Consulate in the United States. This means that because the entire band was not issued visas, we will not be able to enter India at this time.

Neither 7 Sisters Entertainment or FireHouse are responsible for the delay and we are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. We are busy working with the Indian Government to get all of the visas issued so that we can reschedule these concert events as soon as possible. Please stay tuned to this site and Facebook for the re-scheduled dates. We look forward to rocking in Northeast India again as we prepare to come participate in the Rock To Rescue India Tour. Thanks for your support and understanding.”
