Imphal, Aug 22 NNN: Four students went missing from their boarding in Chandel district of Manipur since yesterday morning.
According to the boarding authority that had reported to the Chandel Police Station, four students staying at Shalom Home boarding located at Liwachangning in Chandel district were found missing at around 5 am from the boarding. The missing students are identified as David Monsang, a 13 years old student reading in standard VII. He is the son of one W Monos Monsang of Japhou Village in Chandel district. The other one is one LH Holyhring, 12, s/o LH Anghlung of Khubung Kunou and he is studying in class IV. The third one is one WS Parhing, 13 years old of class V, s/o late WS Kolarhing of Chakpikarong. The last one is a 12 years old boy identified as one M Tilminlun whose mother’s name is one Boicy Haokip of Pallel bazar. He reads in class V.
According to the reports received, these students are studying in a school called Angam Memorial School which is just some 200 metres away from their boarding. The boarding is run by one Nerotin Ngoruh. The boarding proprietor has reported the missing incident to the Chandel police station, a source said.
Meanwhile, intensive search has been going on by boarding authority as well as by the guardians of the missing students.
A search party said that till now they have no clue regarding the whereabouts of the four students. They suspect that the incident is a run-away case. However, they are not fully certain on this theory. But it is unlikely a case of abduction, said one of the men searching for the missing boys.

According to the boarding authority that had reported to the Chandel Police Station, four students staying at Shalom Home boarding located at Liwachangning in Chandel district were found missing at around 5 am from the boarding.
