IMPHAL, May 26: The Handicapped Development Foundation Manipur has facilitated Pukhrambam Julia Devi, daughter of P Shantikumar Singh and P (O) Hemolata Devi of Naranseina Awang Leikai, who has achieved the first position in the Philosophy subject in the overall ranking of the state and 2nd position in the overall ranking of the T.G. Higher Secondary School in the Higher Secondary Examination 2013 conducted by COHSEM, despites her disabilities, on May 25 at the Office premises, said a release of the foundation.
“The Foundation congratulates her on her grand success. A “Letter of Appreciation” has been presented to her on the occasion by Dr Ch Rupachandra Singh, chairman of HD Foundation and Dr Sapam Jasowanta Singh, secretary general of HD Foundation,” the release said.
The Foundation will now provide Merit Scholarship to her for her further studies till she continues to study and will also extend helping hand at every moment of her life, it added.
