Some unknown persons killed an auto driver near Telephone exchange office Khuman Lampak this morning around 10 a.m.
The deceased was identified as Leishangthem Deben (46) Lamlongei Mantripukhri.
He received injuries in the head and other parts of the body.
He was beaten to death by some persons. The motive behind the killing is yet to be ascertained.
A 24 hour bandh has been called from July 1 midnight.
