IMPHAL, Aug 31: The last date for submission of online Renewal Applications under Pre-Matric, Post-Matric and Merit cum Means based Scholarship schemes meant for Minorities for 2017-18 has been extended till September 30, conveyed Directorate of Minorities & Other Backward Classes (MOBC) in a press release. Website for filing up of online application is www.scholarships.gov.in. A link to this site is also available in the website of the Ministry ie www.minorityaffairs.gov.in, the release informed.

IMPHAL, Sep 6 : Sixty-five applicants for the Minority Post-Matric Scholarship, 2014-2015 and one MCM applicant under Minority MCM Scholarship, are required to submit their bank accounts and academic details (originals and photocopies) to the Directorate of MOBC, Government of Manipur on or before September 30.
The applicants have been asked to upload their details on the MOBC website : www.mobcmanipur.goc.in.

IMPHAL, Jul 14: The Directorate of Minorities and Other Backward Classes (MOBC) has notified to all the selected beneficiaries of Minorities, OBCs and SCs of the poultry scheme 2013-14 under EDP who have not yet collected delivery slips for the collection of chicks and feeds that they should come to the Directorate on or before July 25 for collection of delivery slip for obtaining chicks and feeds positively, failing which their names from the selected list will be treated as cancelled and no further claim/complaint will be entertained, according to statement issued by the Dy Director-I, MOBC, Manipur.

Workshop on MOBC scholarships

IMPHAL, May 26: The Directorate of Minorities and Other Backward Classes (MOBC) has notified to all the concerned that a two-day workshop on problems and issues of MOBC scholarships (both OBCs & Minorities) and the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) will be held on June 3 and 4 from 10 am to 2 pm at the conference hall of State Guest House, Sanjenthong.

IMPHAL, May 15: The Directorate of Minorities and Other Backward Classes (MOBC) has notified to all concerned that e-signing of merit list generated applicants (both fresh and renewal) under Merit-cum-Means based scholarship students belonging to Minority communities (MCM) of the State for the year 2015-16 has already been effected by the Nodal Officer (scholarships)/MOBC, Manipur and e-disbursement of the scholarship amount to the students’ bank account is being made by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India through DBT.
