IMPHAL, March 1: A public meeting was held today on the issue of \u201cPlebiscite\u201d at Yairipok Khoiom Laimang organized by the Khoirom Nupi Marup.<\/p>\n
The meet was participated by Konsam Juboti Devi, retd. headmistress Yairipok Khoirom Khongmapal Girls LP School, as the functional president, Kangjam (O) Thasana Leima president, Thoubal district United Womens\u2019 Development Committee as chief guest and Wairakpam Naba, former Pradhan Leirongthel Ningel Gram Panchayat Keisham ISO member Yairipok Khoirom Gram Panchayat and Thangjam Mohen, Member Yairipok Khoirom Gram Pancahyat as the guest of honour.<\/p>\n
UPF secretary general, O. Bikramjit and vice president NIPCO K. Sunil also attended the function as resource persons.<\/p>\n
The resources persons, chief guest, guest of honour who attended the function highlighted on the need for the people\u2019s participation in a discourse on the confrontation between Manipur and India.<\/p>\n
