IMPHAL, June 27: The All Manipur United Clubs`\u2122 Organisation has expressed deep concern against the reported assault and harassment of Mao people by Southern Angami Youth Organisation following their failed bid to usurp the Dzuko Valley and Koziirii from Manipur, said a statement of the organisation.<\/p>\n
It further said that the Nagaland government remaining silent instead of taking up action against SAPO clearly shows that the Nagaland government supports SAPO`\u2122s bid to usurp the land from Manipur.<\/p>\n
At the same time it is also a big fault on the Manipur government`\u2122s part that it had failed to take timely and corrective measures when SAPO had first initiated construction of roads into Manipur`\u2122s Dzuko Valley and Koziirii, it said.<\/p>\n
This also indicates, Manipur government`\u2122s negligence to issues related to its own State boundary, it continued.<\/p>\n
Stating that the AMUCO supports and stands for the Mao people, it has further demanded that the State government should talk with the Nagaland government to chalk out the issue at the same time the Centre cannot maintain silence on the issue.<\/p>\n
It further demanded for a State ministerial or official team to rush off to the Centre and discuss the issue.<\/p>\n\n
