Chuba Ao and National Secretary cum State-in-charge Farooq Khan met various leaders of Naga civil societies, NBCC and BJP Legislators on October 20.<\/p>\n<p>Chuba Ozukum, President of Naga Hoho expressed his appreciation on BJP led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for initiating the Naga Peace Accord and role played by the Center\u2019s interlocutor RN Ravi in Naga talks and in bringing the peace\u00a0 process \u00a0to this stage.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, the party delegates expressed that, BJP as a Party would extend its best ability to see that Peace Accord is finalized at the earliest so that Nagaland State will soon join with the rest of India in all aspects of development.<\/p>\n<p>When Ozukum expressed the apprehension of the mind of the Naga public that the Government of India might try to remove the Article 371(A), the Party delegation assured that there was no such thing and requested the Naga people not to believe such misinformation given by some vested individual.<\/p>\n<p>The Party delegation also met the team of Nagaland Baptist Church Council\u00a0(NBCC) led by its General Secretary Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho who warmly welcomed Farooq Khan who also happens to be the All India Minority-in-charge of the party. The NBCC stated that the Churches in Nagaland are doing its best level to reform the electioneering process under the slogan \u201cClean Election in the State\u201d, for which the party appreciated the role of the NBCC and assured \u00a0them of all its co-operation.<\/p>\n<p>On the apprehension\u00a0 expressed by the General Secretary of NBCC, where minorities, particularly the Christian communities were under threat elsewhere in the mainland, the\u00a0 BJP National\u00a0 Secretary\u00a0 and Minority-in-charge assured that BJP as \u00a0a party would see that all minority communities are safe. The meeting concluded with a Prayer for\u00a0Peace in the State.<\/p>\n<p>The Party delegation also had a \u00a0high level meeting with the Nagaland BJP Legislators at Kohima, \u00a0and members present were P. Paiwang Konyak, Minister of Transport and IT, Dr TM lotha, Adviser for Treasury and Accounts\u00a0 and Imtilemba Sangtam, Adviser for\u00a0 Co-operation\u00a0 and \u00a0Macrofed. Whereas, M.
