{"id":166051,"date":"2015-11-01T00:48:48","date_gmt":"2015-11-01T04:48:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.manipur.org\/news\/?guid=1015243a10d3b5ab220810599a6684b3"},"modified":"2015-11-01T00:48:48","modified_gmt":"2015-11-01T04:48:48","slug":"grenade-attack-on-doctors-house","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.manipur.org\/news\/2015\/11\/01\/grenade-attack-on-doctors-house\/","title":{"rendered":"Grenade attack on doctor`s house"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>IMPHAL, October 31: Militant suspects exploded a hand grenade at the Mayang Imphal residence of Dr Seram Ibomcha Singh, a retired chief medical officer in the wee hour today under Mayang Imphal police station.<\/p>\n<p>Sources said the incident occurred around 3.20 am.<\/p>\n<p>The doctor`\u2122s residence is just about 150 metres away from the concerned police station near Mayang Imphal bazaar.<\/p>\n<p>The bomb had inflicted some damage to a car parked inside the doctor`\u2122s residence and splinters marks were all over the wall of the residence.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, no human casualty was reported due to the blast.<\/p>\n<p>The motive behind today`\u2122s attack is yet to be ascertained but the same sources disclosed that earlier a UG group had left a grenade at the doctor`\u2122s residence.
