IMPHAL, Nov 5: In exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-Section (1) of`<\/p>\n
Section 3 of the Manipur Municipalities Act, 1994, the Governor of Manipur has declared two Wards of Wangjing Gram Panchayat (Ward Nos. 5 & 10) and four Wards of Sangaiyumpham Part-Il Gram Panchayat (Ward Nos. 1,2,3 & 4) as Urban areas as part of Wangjing Lamding Municipal Council.<\/p>\n
Any person who is ordinarily resident of the notified area of the above Wards may if he\/she objects to anything contained herein, submit for objection in writing to the DC, Thoubal within 45 days from the date of publication of this notification.<\/p>\n
The Governor has also declared ten Wards of Sapam Gram Panchayat (Ward Nos. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 & 10), four Wards of Tekcham Gram Panchayat (Ward Nos. 9,10,11 & 12) and four Wards of Samaram Gram Panchayat (Ward Nos. 6,7,8 & 9) as Urban areas (Khongjom Nagar Panchayat) .<\/p>\n
Any person who is ordinarily resident of the notified area of the Wards may if he\/she objects to anything contained herein, submit for objection in writing to the Deputy Commissioner, Thoubal within 45 days from the date of publication of this notification.<\/p>\n
Also, the Governor has declared the whole of notified area in respect of Hiyanglam Gram Panchayat in Thoubal District to be a Nagar Panchayat. Any person who is ordinarily resident of the notified area of the above Gram Panchayat may if he\/she objects to anything contained herein, submit for objection in writing to the DC, Thoubal within 45 days from the date of publication of this notification.<\/p>\n\n
