\nThe Corcom is desperately trying to infiltrate terrorist from across the International Border to disrupt peaceful electoral process of Tenth Assembly elections in Manipur and is also targeting important people and institution in the state.
\nThere have been number of unsuccessful attempt by the Corcom to infiltrate large number of terrorist with an ultimate aim of disruptions and interference with an effective and fair election process. Undeterred troops of Assam Rifles are ready for supreme sacrifice to defeat nefarious designs of UG groups and permit no infiltration across the International Border. Assam Rifles is dominating the border by intensive patrolling and increased presence in forward areas and its troops are determined to check infiltration at all cost and keep situation in the State peaceful to facilitate smooth and peaceful electoral process of 10th Assembly election.
\nAll recent infiltration attempts made by the Corcom at several area such as Aibol, Sajik Tampak, Khumkot and recently on 16 Jan 12 in general area Zou Khunou were rendered futile. <\/p>\n\n
