\nImphal, Feb 18: A meeting to discuss the issues arising after the 10th state assembly election which was held on January 28 was held at Hotel Imphal.
\nThe representatives of BJP, NCP, TMC, MSCP, NPF, MPP, NPP, CPI, CPI(M), RJD and GD(U) took part in the meeting.
\nThe meeting unanimously decided to stand against the decision of ECI for re-poll saying that the photocomparison and other irregularities should be involved. The issued may be raised before ECI who will visit the state on February 21 . Opposing the idea of conducting re-poll by the Election Commission of India (ECI) in Manipur, an all party meeting barring the Congress was held on Saturday and reaffirmed their stand for invalidation of proxy votes and nullified the idea of holding re-poll, ahead of the meeting between the observers of Election Commission of India (ECI) and leaders of all the political parties in the State on February 21.
\n\u00a0During the meeting, which was organized by People\u2019s Democratic Front (PDF) at Hotel Imphal here, 10 different political parties unanimously took two key decisions regarding invalidation of rigged-votes that came to light after completion of photo comparison work and demanded that all the postal ballot papers issued to the Government employees, who were not in election duty during the January 28 polls, should be rejected by ECI, Manipur Pradesh NCP president and Opposition leader Radhabinod Koijam said briefing journalists after the meeting.
\nThe meeting attended by leaders of NCP, CPI, Manipur People\u2019s Party (MPP), Naga People\u2019s Front (NPF), CPI-M, BJP, JD-U, All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) and National Political Party (NPP), also demanded that the postal ballot paper list should be provided to all the political parties before February 25, Radhabinod said, adding that the meeting further deliberated on their stand for the scheduled meeting with the ECI observers.\u00a0At the meeting, besides Radhabinod, senior Opposition leader O Joy of MPP, M Nara of CPI, State BJP president Sh. Shantikumar, MPP president Nimaichand Luwang, State JD-U president M. Tombi and Sarat Salam of CPI-M and among others attended.<\/p>\n\n
