IMPHAL, Jun 22: The hunger strike launched by teachers under the auspices of All Manipur Elementary School Teacher\u2019s Association demanding services regularisation and release of 10 months\u2019 pending salary completed its second day today at Khoyathong Pukhri Achouba Maning. According to the teachers, the agitation was launched to protest non-issue of regularisation order even after the State Cabinet’s discussion for the regularisation of 1786 teachers who already got requisite qualification scale. The teachers have also protested the reported non-release of 10 months’ pending salary.<\/p>\n
