IMPHAL, Jul 1: A bomb exploded at the residential gate of former JNIMS Medical Superintendent Dr L Kokindro at Heirangoithong Maibam Leikai at around 7.30 pm today.
\nSome portions of Dr Kokindro\u2019s residential gate and a culvert located nearby were damaged by the impact of the blast.
\nRear wind-shield of a car (Beat) parked at the garage of Chabungbam Ibotombi was shattered by the blast.
\nNotably, Dr Kokindro and Ch Ibotombi share a common entry gate.
\nSoon after the blast, a team of Imphal West District Police led by Additional SP (Ops), SDPO Singjamei and OC Singjamei police station rushed to the spot and inspected the blast site.
\nWhile local people have condemned the blast in the strongest term, a case has been registered at Singjamei police station. <\/p>\n
