Komrem Union, North East India has vehemently condemned the killing of Nengneingah Khongsai (16) who was shot dead by a cadre of KNA at Gilgan village, Moreh on July 23.
\nIn a press release, the union regretted the rampant crime against women and children in the State.
\nAll Manipur Women\u2019s Voluntary Association (AMAWOVA) also expressed strong condemnation on the killing of the girl who was a Class IX student.
\nThe association, in a press release demanded the State Government to come up with measures to tackle the rising crime against women and children in the State.
\nIt also demanded exemplary punishment be awarded to the killer at the earliest.<\/p>\n
