CIVIL SERVICES (MAIN) EXAMINATION, 2011

Based on the results of the written part of Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2011, held by the Union Public Service
\nCommission in October-November, 2011 and the interviews for Personality Test held in March-April, 2012, the following is the
\nlist, in order of merit, of candidates who have been recommended for appointment to \u2013
\n(i) Indian Administrative Service;
\n(ii) Indian Foreign Service;
\n(iii) Indian Police Service; and
\n(iv) Central Services, Group \u2018A\u2019 and Group \u2018B\u2019.
\nA total number of 910 candidates have been recommended for appointment including 420 General (including 21 Physically
\nChallenged candidates), 255 Other Backward Classes (including 8 Physically Challenged candidates), 157 Scheduled Castes
\n(including 4 Physically Challenged candidate) and 78 Scheduled Tribes candidates.<\/p>\n
