IMPHAL, Jan 14: The Co-ordinating Body Scheduled Tribe Demand Committee Manipur, Bishnupur district, organised a meeting under the theme \u2018Schedule Tribe Status Amadi Meitei\/Meetie\u2019 at Wangoo Sadangkhong Awang Leikai yesterday.
\n A press release issued by the publicity secretary of the association stated that Thokchom Gopimohon, chairman, publicity committee STDCM, Nongdrenkhomba, acting president, STDCM and Haohom Ibobi attended the meeting as the presidium members.
\nThe meeting deliberated in the need to include Meitei in the ST list so as to protect the community.<\/p>\n
