IMPHAL, Jan 18: In a tragic incident, a five-year-old boy was killed while his mother and grandmother sustained injuries when a Tata Tipper truck toppled onto them at Phaipijang Spring Villa, Langol under Lamphel police station today morning at around 7.
\nThe deceased boy has been identified as Thangminlal s\/o Henkhogin.
\nAccording to a report, a Tata Tipper truck was unloading earth at the residence of Henkhogen Vaiphei when the vehicle lost control and toppled onto them on the left side.
\nDespite putting best efforts by locals who were present at the site when the incident took place, they failed to extract the boy from the truck.
\nThe deceased\u2019s mother Kimkhohoi suffered injuries on her left hand. She is undergoing treatment at Shija Hospital while his grandmother has been discharged from the hospital.<\/p>\n
