The tremor was felt at Manipur and the neighbouring states around 7.51 am. The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake had a magnitude of 5.7 and struck at a depth of 68.4 kilometres (42.5 miles). Myanmar\u2019s meteorological and seismic agency put the magnitude at 5.8.<br \/>\nAn official from the Myanmar agency says no casualties or damage have been reported. The quake occurred Sunday at 8:51 a.m. local time.<br \/>\nThe official says the quake\u2019s epicenter was about 215 kilometres (135 miles) northwest of Mandalay, Myanmar\u2019s second largest city. He says it was felt in Hakha, the capital of northwestern Chin state. He spoke anonymously because he wasn\u2019t authorized to release information.<br \/>\nThe area affected is not densely populated.
