\nImphal, July 30: One KCP Nayon cadre surrendered alongwith one Lathode launcher with two live ammunition before 23 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector under HQ IGAR(S) at Sagolmang on 30 Jul 12.The man was identified as No.2007 Soibam Shyamachand Meitei alias Kalakar,35 yrs,s\/o S Ibomacha Meitei,r\/o Horaorou Maning Leikai,Pangei,Heigang, Imphal East.
\nDiscovering the presence of UG cadres in Wabagai Mayalekai and of Thoubal district, troops of 27 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) launched operation in the area, resulted in apprehension of two UG cadres from Wabagai Mayalekai and Wabagai Terauk respectively on 30 Jul 2012. The apprehendees were identified as No.1421 SS Pvt N Prem Kumar alias Apanba, of PREPAK, 42 yrs, s\/o Kala Singh, r\/o Wabagai Mayalekai, Kakching,Thoubal and No.26990 SS Pvt N Rojit Kumar alias Rojit, of PLA,37 yrs,s\/o M Ebo Pishak Kumar,r\/o Wabagai Terauk,Kakching. L\/Cpt Yumnam Dhanjoy Singh alias Ingen,32 yrs,s\/o Ibomcha. One .38 mm Pistol with magazine recovered from the PREPAK cadre. Both the apprehendees who alongwith recovery were handed over to Kakching police station.
