Imphal, Aug 5 UNA : Condemning the bomb threat to \u201cHis Grace Pharmacy\u201d the owners of the Pharmacies union of the Jawahalal Nehru Institute of Medical Science (JNIMS) area organized a sit in protest today at Porompat Imphal.
\nAccording to police source, Chinese hand grenade was found today at around 5:30 am in front of the \u201cHis Grace Pharmacy\u201d located near the JNIMS hospital, as per reported by the pharmacies owner to police.
\nThe source further said that Pharmacy is owned by one Amit Lhungleng, and the hand grenade was found covered by one paper, inside the paper the police further found a written words \u201cPREPAK (PRO) Red Army Nongshaba\u201d it was added.
\nIn the meantime, condemning the threat, a sit in protest was organized by the JNIMS area pharmacies today at JNIMS.
\nSpeaking to media persons a protester disclosed that, as per reported by the Pharmacy owner Amit Lhungleng, the pharmacy get a monetary demand of Rs.1 lakhs and Rs. 20 thousand to the retailer by some unknown armed persons. Appealing the concern authority the pharmacies union located near the JNIMS, urges not to frighten the pharmacies by bomb and to stop such unbearable monetary demands.
\nIn the meantime yesterday night at around 11 pm unknown armed persons attacked the resident of one additional director and soil chemist of the agriculture department, Pheiroijam Rajen.
\nAccording to police source the bomb was blast inside the campus of the resident of Additional director, and damage some resident\u2019s good however there is no reports of any casualities added.<\/p>\n\n
