\nImphal, Aug 9 : Governor Gurbhachan Jagat said in a message. \u201cI extend my heartiest greetings to the people of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of \u201cShri Krishna Janmastami\u201d.
\nThe teachings of Lord Krishna to a bewildered Arjuna on the battlefield in the midst of the Mahabharata to perform \u201cKarrna\u201d (duty), is the essence of truth and will forever remain as a guiding principle for mankind. His message explaining the true meaning of \u201cKarma\u201d will continue to show the path to all human beings, as to how we should react in difficult situations, conditions and circumstances. \u201cKarma\u201d, in simple terms, is worshiping work, doing it for its own sake without expecting its rewards\/results. It also signifies total concentration in doing one\u2019s best in whatever one does. Following His teachings, let us all in Manipur perform our duty in our day-to-day life for bringing peace and prosperity in our State.I, once again, convey my heartiest greetings to all on the auspicious occasion of \u201cShri Krishna Janmastami\u201d.
