{"id":40881,"date":"2012-08-31T21:09:49","date_gmt":"2012-09-01T01:09:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/manipur-mail.com\/?p=9608"},"modified":"2012-08-31T21:09:49","modified_gmt":"2012-09-01T01:09:49","slug":"mizoram-to-privatise-tourist-lodge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.manipur.org\/news\/2012\/08\/31\/mizoram-to-privatise-tourist-lodge\/","title":{"rendered":"Mizoram to privatise tourist lodge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>    Mizoram state government has taken a decision to privatise the government-run  tourist lodges and highway restaurants.<br \/>\nOn Thursday, Mizoram Tourism Development Board officials and the state chief minister had discussed the matter.<br \/>\nThe meeting decided for the privatisation of the government-run tourist lodges and highway restaurants, and resolved to privatise 13 out of the total 38 tourist lodges and highway restaurants.<br \/>\nThe meeting also decided to run the management of such lodges and restaurants in Mizoram like that of Nagaland and Sikkim.<br \/>\nThe meeting also decided on how to open a \u2018branded hotel\u2019 for the lodging of tourists from outside the state as well as from foreign countries.<br \/>\n Besides, regarding the establishment of Institute of Hotel Management in Mizoram, the Thursday meeting discussed on how to manage the fund to be shared by Mizoram, apart from the fund sanctioned by the central government.
