IMPHAL, Nov 23 MNS NNN : In two separate incidents, a team of Imphal East district commandos has nabbed husband-wife duo cadres of (PREPAK).
\nKamei Angam Romanus, SP , Imphal East said commandos arrested a cadre of PREPAK from her home on November 21 last at Yourbung Khunou and recovered a .32 pistol with a magazine and two live rounds in her possession. She has been identified as Laishram Rajeshwori, of Yourbung Khunou.
\nHer husband, L Iton, a cadre of the same outfit was also arrested by the same commando unit from Yourbung. They found one AK-56 rifle with magazine and 5 live rounds .
\nSeveral arms and ammunitions were found concealed at the garden of the house of one W Ibomcha of Sawombung Thongkhang Makha Leikai. Recovered items includes AK parts as 8 receiver covers, 7 rotating bolts, 7 piston grooves, 6 receiver cover studs, 7 gas cylinders, 12 returning springs, 7 cleaning rods, 5 AK magazines, 4 Kenwood wireless sets, 1.5 kgs of explosive and 80 rounds of AK rifle ammunitions, according to the police.<\/p>\n\n
