This was the first-ever outing of the children.<br \/>\nThe tour consisted of 28 students and two teachers of the various villages from the Samtal area and was flagged-off from Kakching on 27 November 2012. The children were shown various historical and modern attractions of Kolkata. They also interacted with Governor of West Bengal Shri M K Narayanan and Lt Gen Dalbir Singh, AVSM, VSM, GOC-in-C, Eastern Command during their stay in the city.<br \/>\nMaj Gen U K Gurung, YSM, IGAR(S) interacted with the students and teachers after their arrival to Imphal.
