{"id":53471,"date":"2013-02-22T19:45:47","date_gmt":"2013-02-23T00:45:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/manipur-mail.com\/?p=15987"},"modified":"2013-02-22T19:45:47","modified_gmt":"2013-02-23T00:45:47","slug":"rebels-attack-ar-post","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.manipur.org\/news\/2013\/02\/22\/rebels-attack-ar-post\/","title":{"rendered":"Rebels attack AR post"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Imphal Feb 22 UNA : A gunfight between well armed suspected PLA cadres and troops of 24 Assam Rifles was reported in Manipur\u2019s Chandel district on Friday, injured two Assam Rifles personnel.<br \/>\nThe gunfight was reported after suspected rebels of PLA launched an attacked to the post of the 24 Assam Rifles at Saibon village under Tengnoupal police station of Chandel district in the wee hour of today, around 1.10 am and the security personnel reiterated.<br \/>\nThe gunfight lasted for about 20 minutes and two AR jawans were reportedly injured.<br \/>\nIn the aftermath of the gunfight, security forces launched a search operation at Saiton village and its adjoining areas.<br \/>\nAn AK assault rifle suspected to have been left behind by the rebels was reportedly recovered during the search operation.
