{"id":59026,"date":"2013-05-31T22:16:42","date_gmt":"2013-06-01T02:16:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/manipur-mail.com\/?p=18704"},"modified":"2013-05-31T22:16:42","modified_gmt":"2013-06-01T02:16:42","slug":"cbi-files-chargesheet-against-five-persons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.manipur.org\/news\/2013\/05\/31\/cbi-files-chargesheet-against-five-persons\/","title":{"rendered":"CBI files chargesheet against five persons"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mail News Service<br \/>\nNew Delhi, May 31: The Central Bureau of Investigation has filed a chargesheet against five accused persons (four residents of Balipur &amp; one of Katra Vihar) of District Pratapgarh(U.P) for their role in the conspiracy &amp; alleged murder of Nanhe Yadav then Pradhan of Balipur District Pratapgarh and recovery of illegal weapons.<br \/>\nThe investigation revealed that rivalry between the deceased &amp; the accused for dominance in village politics and a land dispute between the deceased &amp; accused persons, were the reasons behind the killing.<br \/>\nCBI had registered four cases relating to murder of three persons, including ShriZiaulHaque, Deputy Superintendent of Police of Uttar Pradesh and two other persons, namely ShriNanheYadav&amp; his brother Shri Suresh Yadav, both of District Pratapgarh (UP) in separate incidents on 02.03.2013 on the request of UP Govt and after Notification by Govt of India. CBI has taken of the investigation of these cases which were earlier registered by Uttar Pradesh.<br \/>\nFurther investigation is continued U\/s 173 (8) Cr.P.C. in the case.<br \/>\nThe public is reminded that the above findings are based on the investigation done by CBI and evidence collected by it.
