IMPHAL, November 18: A cyclist was reportedly killed along NH-2 near Waikhom Mani Girls College Thoubal this morning when he was knocked down by an I-10 car bearing registration number AR-01C 1967.<\/p>\n
Police sources said that the incident occurred around 11:30 am.<\/p>\n
The deceased is identified as one Thokchomm Ibohal, 76, Thoubal Houkha Mamang Leikai.<\/p>\n
Police registered a case with regards to the incident and taken into custody the car. However, the driver is reportedly absconding.<\/p>\n
The corpse has been handed over to the family after post mortem at JNIMS.<\/p>\n\n
