IMPHAL, December 20: The skeletal remains of a 22-year-old woman were recovered from the thick foliage at Nungtek area yesterday evening. <\/p>\n
Police sources said that local wood collectors stumbled over the remains at around 4 pm.<\/p>\n
The deceased was wearing jeans pant and pink colour T-shirt. Besides, a mobile handset was recovered from near the body.<\/p>\n
Later, the victim was confirmed to be one Lujonliu, 22, daughter of Gaguina of Wairangba Village Noney, Tamenglong district, after checking the SIM card.<\/p>\n
It has been informed that Lujonliu left home last June following a quarrel with her family members and had remained traceless since. Her mortal remains have been deposited at the JNIMS mortuary. <\/p>\n\n
