JIRIBAM, January 12: As in other parts of the state, the ‘Emoinu Irat thouram’ was held at Jiribam sub-division also.<\/p>\n
The Meetei Inat Thougal Lup, Jiribam today organised the ‘Ema Emoinu Lairembi Irat Thouram’ at the Sanamahi Khupham at Laikon Leirak, Lairembi Leikai in the sub-division.<\/p>\n
As part of the celebration, Thounaojam Kumbha Luwang hoisted the ‘Salai firal’ (flag) in the morning, while Kangabam Chura Mangang opened the celebration.<\/p>\n
Leaders of the Meetei Inat Thougal Lup Thounaojam Kumbha Luwang, Oinam Birachand Meetei and Karam Rajmani Meetei sat on the dais.<\/p>\n
Khwairakpam Kunjarani Leima, Tourangbam ongbi Madhumati Leima, Thounaojam ongbi Ketuki Leima and Oinam Birachand Meetei spoke on the theme, “Ima Emoinu Mashak Khangba amasung Meetei Khunnaigi Thoudang”.<\/p>\n\n
