IMPHAL, January 16: Tight security vigil over the state capital, ahead of this year’s Republic Day continued today.<\/p>\n
Late in the evening, Imphal East district police conducted a search operation and frisking checking at Lamlong Bazar.<\/p>\n
13 individuals were detained during the search operation and handed over to the police for further verification.<\/p>\n
The operation was conducted under the supervision of M Rajen additional SP (ops) Imphal East from 5.30 pm at Lamlong Bazar and the adjourning localities.<\/p>\n\n
