JIRIBAM, January 17: The Government Higher Secondary School, which is regarded as the most reputed school in the entire Jiribam sub-division has been largely affected by the absence of adequate staff and infrastructure, said the principal of the school.<\/p>\n
He told media persons that the lack of staff and infrastructure have greatly affected the atmosphere in the school.<\/p>\n
There is still a lot of scope for improvement once the needed staff and infrastructure are provided, he continued.<\/p>\n
The acute shortage of staff and infrastructure has also resulted in the falling pass percentage, he lamented.<\/p>\n
With the main aim of improving the pass percentage of the students, the session for class IX and X will be started from February 3, said the principal.<\/p>\n
He further appealed to the teachers who are presently not available to return to the school and help churning out better students.<\/p>\n
He also appealed to the state government to look into the necessities of the school which has class XI to XII at the earliest.<\/p>\n\n
