IMPHAL, January 23: A Hyundai Accent make car bearing registration number WB02P-7266 smashed into a Maruti Dezire make car bearing number MNO1W-3741 near the traffic island of the Governor’s residence today around 8.30 pm.<\/p>\n
The four occupants were driving under the influence of alcohol.<\/p>\n
The car was driving on the wrong side of the road, when the police cdos flagged them to stop.<\/p>\n
However, in trying to flee from the police, it smashed into the Maruti Dezire which belongs to Y Thamkishore Singh, commissioner of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. <\/p>\n
Police have arrested all four occupants of the car.<\/p>\n\n
