A road in interior Churachandpur district of Manipur has been named after Olympic bronze medal winner pugilist MC Mary Kom. During a reception held in honour of Kom at Churachandpur district headquarters, Manipur Health Minister T Phungzathang said government has decided to name the road connecting Churachandpur town to the office of the deputy commissioner’s office as ‘Mary Kom Ring Road’. <\/p>\n\n
