In 2011, he created an art installation at Harrington Art Gallery, Kolkata, with a performance by choreographer and dancer Priti Patel titled Hue of Tradition. In 2010, he designed the ambience and art installation for IGNCA, New Delhi, for an inter-cultural dialogue between North East India and South East Asia. This particular design was not only well received by visual art critics but also by performing artists from different parts of India and South East Asian countries. The expanse of his installation, combined with a performance directed by legendary historian and tDr. Lokendra Arambam was a testament to his extraordinary creative power.

He worked as associate researcher for the Theatre Infrastructure Cell (TIC) at the India Foundation for the Arts (IFA), Bangalore (2009), and served as production designer for the Ford Foundation production film Soldiers in Sarong. Their curated exhibition Voices from the Land of Polo in Mumbai (2018) was an act of curatorial translation—carrying the visual vernacular of Manipur into the metropolitan white cube.
