Floating house on the Loktak Lake

The photo is of a house on a 'Phumdi' (floating weed) which is floating on the waters of the Loktak Lake. These type of houses are home to migratory fishermen who live on the lake and earn their livelihood by fishing in the lake using nets and harvesting 'Heikak' (water chestnut).
