A public meeting cum sit-in protest in connection with the arrest of Maiba Sanahal organized by JAC for innocent Sanahal was held at Wakha community hall today.
Those who took part in the meeting urged to release Sanahal failing which various agitations will be launched in no time.
It may be mentioned here that maiba Sahabal was picked up by police in connection with the killing of driver Kiran of Thongju Koirou some days back. Meanwhile a sit in protest against drugs was also held at Pechu Lampak today. The protestors are demanding the real owner of drugs seized from Imphal airport some months back.
