IMPHAL, April 21: The 6th edition of Pandam, the first monthly journal was released by the Editorial board of Pandam at Manipur State Sumang Lila Council office, Iboyaima Sumang Lila today.
Speaking at the function Dr M Nara said Manipur society is in a transition period. “In the past, the Bengali script which was used in Manipur has been slowly shifted to Meitei Mayek. It is a great achievement of the state government to abolish the earlier Bengali scropt and starts our own script,” he said.
