The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Safety Incharge of Indian Oil Corporation, Ambala cantt.(Haryana) for demanding & accepting a bribe of Rs.6,000/-from the Complainant.
A case was registered by CBI under Prevention of Corruption Act on a complaint alleging demand of bribe of Rs.6000/- by Safety Incharge, Indian Oil Corporation, Ambala Cantt., for issuing safety certificate/green cards in respect of 5 vehicles/oil tankers of the complainant, failing which he will ban the vehicles/oil tankers of the complainant.
CBI laid a trap and the accused was caught red handed while demanding & accepting bribe of Rs.6000/- from the complainant.
