Snake bite victim

IMPHAL, Jul 16: Jwalamukhi Battalion of Senapati Brigade under the aegis of Red Shield Division in its continuous efforts to provide aid and assistance to the local populace, saved a snake bite victim named Seikhomang Chongloi, chief of L Khenjang village, Senapati district on July 13. According to a PIB (DW) release, the victim was provided first aid by the medical team of Motbung post which saved his life.

IMPHAL, Jul 16: The State working committee, Indian Medical Association, Manipur State Branch (IMA, MSB) strongly condemned the grenade planted at the residence of the Director, JNIMS. Such an attack dampens the spirit of the person and will seriously hamper the working and discharge of duties of the Director and ultimately affect the proper functioning of the premier medical institute of the State. IMPHAL, Jul 16 (DIPR): To reach out to the unvaccinated and partially vaccinated children in the interior areas of Manipur, Directorate of Family Welfare Services, Manipur is taking up immunization works at a grand scale under Mission Indradhanush, said Dr K Rajo, Director, Family Welfare while addressing the press conference organized by DIPR here today at DIPR premises. IMPHAL, Jul 16: JAC, Thoubal district of All Manipur Written Test Successful Candidate of Police Constable Male, 2013 convened a meeting of candidates and guardians of Thoubal district at Wangjing Pukhri Achouba Lampak today and warned of launching various forms of agitation from July 18 if the authority concerned fails to declare the results of viva-voce by July 17.
