High Court Bar Association of Manipur has strongly condemned the claim made by one Utsav Singh Bains, claiming himself to be an Advocate practising in the Supreme Court of India, who in a memorandum to the Prime Minister stated that none of the lawyers practising in the High Court of Manipur are ready to represent the family of a deceased namely Irom Roger, who was killed in a road rage involving a son of the Chief Minister of Manipur. Similar statements are also published in some sections of the media, both National and State.
