Imphal, Jul 16: Manipur’s under-19 girls’ team stormed into the final of the ‘Oorja’ CAPF Under-19 Talent Hunt Football Tournament 2017, which is currently underway at the Dr Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi.
In the semifinal match today, the Manipuri girls edged past the West Bengal counterparts by a margin of 2-0, thanks to the goals by Ranjana (10′) and Ratanbala (12′).
The tournament is organised by the All India Police Control Board featuring six teams selected from zonal competitions and divided into two groups. The final match is scheduled on July 18 at 5:30pm.
