Trinamul Congress  has won  seven seats while  Manipur State congress Party (MSCP)  has won five seats. The Naga People\u2019s Front has won four seats.<br \/>\nThe giant killers were Kh Joykishan of AITC who defeated People\u2019s Democratic Alliance (PDA) and former Chief Minister Radhabinod Koijam at Thangmeiband. K Shyam of LJP defeated O Joy of MPP. Mr Joy had represented Langthabal seats for seven terms.<br \/>\nThree ministers lost this time, DD Thaisii and L Jayentakumar of Congress and Ph Parijat of CPI.<br \/>\nThree women have won this time compared to one last time. Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh won Thoubal seat with the largest margin of about 15453 votes.<br \/>\nIn the last Assembly elections the Congress won 30 seats,  NCP  won in five seats, CPI  won in 4 seats,  Manipur People\u2019s Party (MPP)  won in 5 seats, RJD  won in 3 seats. National People\u2019s Party contested in five seats and won in three seats. A total of 10 Independents won.  Contrary to the hype built up by the party and the flak drawn by its \u2018Naga integration\u2019 slogan, the Naga People\u2019s Front (NPF) could only win in four constituencies in Naga dominated 12 assembly constituencies it contested in the 10th Manipur legislative assembly.<br \/>\nThe NPF in spite of its tall claim to win at least in eight seats, managed to secured only in four of them.<br \/>\nDr Alexander Pao of the NPF won from Karong assembly constituency in Senapati district by defeating sitting MLA  D.D Thaisii of the Congress. Dikho of the NPF defeated his nearest rival from the Congress P.T Arhai in Mao constituency, also in Senapati district.<br \/>\nIn the whole Ukhrul district, the NPF could win only in one seat. Samuel Risom of the NPF opened the account for the party from Ukhrul district headquarters.<br \/>\nIn Chandel district, ST Nunghlung brought laurel for the Naga party from the district headquarters.<br \/>\nManipur unit president of the NPF G Gaingam lost to Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) Gaikhangam in Nungba constituency of Tamenglong district.<br \/>\nIt can be noted that the NPF after having had modified its nomenclature, entered Manipur and was in the fray in the 10th Manipur election by fielding 12 candidates. The United Naga Council (UNC) and other Naga frontal organisations campaigned for the party in this election.<br \/>\nOut of the 16 women contested, only three managed to win in the 10th Manipur legislative assembly polls.<br \/>\nO Landhoni Devi of the Congress, A.
