Imphal, Aug 7: The Kyo-kushinkai Karate Association Manipuri is sending five karatekas from Manipur to represent India in the International Open Karate Championship that will be held at Bandhist Krida Sankul, KDMC Ground, Thane in Mumbai on August 16 and 17, according to a statement from the association.
\nThe selected list includes:
\n\u2022 Khwairakpam Lakhan: below 35kg, 12 to 13 years
\n\u2022 Thangminlen Khongsai: below 50kg, 16 to 17 years
\n\u2022 Khoirom Tendenba: below 55kg, 16 to 17 years
\n\u2022 Ningthoujam Sanjoy Me-etei: below 55kg, 18+years
\n\u2022 Waikhom Santa: below 50kg, 18+years
\nAll of them are individual kumite; and while the first four are play at the national level, W Santa is an international player, mentioned the statement.<\/p>\n
