One individual was apprehended by Assam Rifles along with 4.15 Kgs of gold while checking a Maruti van at Khudengthabi along Imphal-Moreh highway at around 8.30 am today.
\nActing on a specific tip off, troops of 12 AR halted and checked vehicles coming from the direction of Moreh.
\nOn checking a van driven by one Raju Muniyandi (45) of Moreh Ward No 3, 25 numbers of gold biscuits hidden under the driver\u2019s seat were found. Two mobile phones, Aadhar card and driving licence were also seized from his possession, informed a source.
