{"id":307819,"date":"2017-09-01T14:30:00","date_gmt":"2017-09-01T18:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ifp.co.in\/item\/3321-police-officers-suspended-in-belt-supply-case"},"modified":"2017-09-01T14:30:00","modified_gmt":"2017-09-01T18:30:00","slug":"police-officers-suspended-in-belt-supply-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.manipur.org\/news\/2017\/09\/01\/police-officers-suspended-in-belt-supply-case\/","title":{"rendered":"Police officers suspended in belt supply case"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"K2FeedIntroText\">\n<p>By A Staff Reporter<\/p>\n<p>IMPHAL | Sept 1<\/p>\n<p>Two police officers, an IPS and an MPS officers have been placed under suspension while retirement benefit of a retired IPS officer has been withheld as disciplinary action.<\/p>\n<p>Three separate orders were issued by the department of personnel and administrative reforms with regards to the disciplinary actions against the officers.<\/p>\n<p>Although the orders did not mention any details, it is believed that the suspension could relate to the case of supply of low quality belt for state police.<\/p>\n<p>The suspended police officers have been identified as F. Gonglin, IPS SP Senapati and M. Kumarjit, MPS, additional SP (Ops), Imphal East district.<\/p>\n<p>The retired police officer whose retirement benefit is upheld has been identified as S.
