A suspected cadre was traveling from Imphal to Churachandpur on a scooter bearing No MN-01 3468. He was nabbed by troops of Red ShieldDiv in Trangloabi on NH-02 on 13 Aug 2012 and has been identified as Self Styled Sergeant Wahengbam @ Bisorjit son of W Binoy, residence of Hiyanglem Naikhom Leikai, police station Kakching, District Thoubal. One 9mm Pistol with a Mag, three live rds and number of incriminating documents were recovered from his possession. He also revealed that he belongs to PLA and holds the rank of a Self Styled Seargent.
\nDiscovering the movement of UG cadres in Chikkim Veng and Ward No.7,Moreh of Chandel district, troops of 9 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) launched operations in the areas resulting in apprehension of two UGs cadres on 11and12 Aug 2012. The apprehendees were identified as SS Pvt Lettinmamg of KNLA,33 yrs, \/o Chikkim Veng,Moreh and SS Pvt Ranjit of PREPAK,30 yrs, ,r\/o Ward No.7.Moreh.
