{"id":44495,"date":"2012-10-14T21:28:15","date_gmt":"2012-10-15T01:28:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/manipur-mail.com\/?p=12496"},"modified":"2012-10-14T21:28:15","modified_gmt":"2012-10-15T01:28:15","slug":"nscn-im-man-killed-in-clash-with-unlf-cadres","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.manipur.org\/news\/2012\/10\/14\/nscn-im-man-killed-in-clash-with-unlf-cadres\/","title":{"rendered":"NSCN IM man killed in clash with UNLF cadres"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>IMPHAL, Oct 14 MN S NNN: At least one NSCN (IM) militant has been reportedly killed and several left injured by the cadres of United National Liberation Front (UNLF) in a gunfight between the two heavily armed outfits at Ashang Khullen border under Kamjong Police Station in Ukhrul district of Manipur in the adjoining night of October 13 and 14.<br \/>\nA well placed source from the NSCN-IM in Dimapur confirmed the dead a cadre from its outfit.<br \/>\nAccording to reliable sources, the gunfight which lasted for several hours occurred when the heavily armed cadres of NSCN (IM) clashed with a team of UNLF resulting in the dead of one NSCN (IM) cadre.<br \/>\nHowever, the identity of the slain cadre could not be ascertained.<br \/>\nJust after the news of the gunfight spread panic people of the nearby villages fled their homesteads for safety.<br \/>\nSince incident happenned to be in a border area security forces could not rush to the spot immediately.
