It was thrown and landed inside the shop, but due to a malfunction it failed to explode. However, the igniter caused the bomb to flare-up and start the fuse burning.<br \/>\nThe police said it was a Chinese hand grenade.<br \/>\nThree persons, including the owner of the shop, one customer and two salesmen were inside the shop when the incident took place.<br \/>\nRajen Jain, 50, the owner of the shop is a native of Rajasthan. He presently stays at Thangal bazaar.
