K Shyamjai Chief Editor of Kangleipakki Meira, an evening newspaper was declared elected as the President of AMWJU. He defeated former President A. Mobi with a margin of about 35 votes. The third candidate Salam Jugol got 14 votes.<br \/>\nSeven standing committee members were already declared elected unanimously.
